Mission collaborated with fashion design company Olowu Golding to create an installation celebrating the urban heydays of such cities as Lagos and Palm Springs.
Concept
A fusion of architectural and interior design, the installation celebrated the work of Lagos-based British architects practice Godwin & Hopwood, whose work spanned residential and industrial modernism in Nigeria from the 1950s.
The objects and pieces on display shared a similar aesthetic, a graphic interplay of colours and shapes, being the perfect counterparts for simplified spaces of the modern interior.

– 20th century Nigerian textiles from Duro Olowu and Elaine Golding’s private collection;
