Warning! This book is preposterous!

The absurdist humorous book by surrealist artist Salvador Dalí and photographer Philippe Halsman was re-issued in 1994 (50 years after its first edition), prompting Yvonne to persuade The Photographer’s Gallery to hold an exhibition of the mad images taken from the book.

Generating exhibitions/events around books was the best way of amplifying a book’s PR potential, particularly in the more mainstream press.
